I really need help with this one! I´ve just received a Zenit E from 1974, apparently in good order. Unfortunately the shutter curtains are sticky and one of them is getting apart from the other. Is there something to do? I´m willing to disassemble the beast but i need some guidance. Please view the photo!
Looks like the one of the shutter ribbons is broken. They can be replaced. But you have to completely dis assemble and re- assemble the camera. Make sure you have the right equipment. If this is your first repair of service, it will quite be a challenge. I can post some pictures of the process if you request so.
If you solved the problem please tell how can you do?
