  • 12/15/1918 - Foundation of GOI [1]
  • 01/01/1924 - Foundation of TOMP (ТОМП) [1]
  • 04/10/1926 - Release of first Issue of "Sovetskoye Foto" magazine [1]
  • 04/01/1927 - Begining of mass production of photo-paper on Factory #3 of Fotokhimtrest (paper "Omega") [1]
  • 12/29/1927 - Offivial creation of the F.E. Dzerjinksi Workers Commune - FED [3]
  • 05/24/1928 - Governement order issued to start preparing for production of photographic equipment at TOMP[1]
  • 03/01/1929 - Factory VOOMP had learned how to make photo-cameras [1]
  • 09/01/1929 - Factory "Vozrozhdeniye" started mass production of photo-paper [1]
  • 12/29/1929 - VTOMP (All-union organization of optical-mechanical production) was created when Leningrad and Izyum factory of optical glass and Pavshinskiy zavod of precise mechanics (Krasnogorsk) were joined with TOMP [2]
  • 06/25/1930 - Release of first batch of Fotokor No.1 by TOMP [1]
  • 10/07/1931 - Mass production of Fotokor No.1 had began at TOMP [1]
  • 08/10/1932 - TOMP started fullfilling order of Fotokor-1 to specialized market [1]
  • 10/26/1932 - The first three 'Soviet Leicas' are assembled at FED Workers Commune. The first FEDs. [3]
  • 01/10/1934 - Release of first batch of 10 FED camera by Kharkov's FED Trudkommuna [1]
  • 09/01/1937 - Release of "Reporter" camera by GOMZ [1]
  • 09/06/1945 - FED Factory receives the Order of the Red Flag of Labor [3]
  • 5/01/1948 - First 50 KMZ FED Cameras (later FED-Zorki and just Zorki) [2]
  • 10/02/1962 LOOMP Association was organized that included GOMZ, "Progress" plant, "Kinap" plant, OOMZ. [4]
  • 1/1/1965 LOOMP becomes LOMO [3]
