Sure that generally we cannot find ultra rare and well known cameras, such as the FS-2, the Fed B, etc, on eBay.
When cameras are not really known, eBay allows some good finds. Happily!

A question about these FS-2: GOI ones have the same s/n on the housing reflex and the lens. Probably a sort of definitive proof that they were appaired at the factory. Is it the same for KMZ ones? I am not sure.

Jacques,

I think that these two cameras (GOI and KMZ) have own numerations. GOI camera was produced till 1941 and KMZ camera in 1944/45.

Jacques,

difference of prices I explain with the difference of auctions WestLicht and Ebay.
The "serious" bidder don't look for any cameras on Ebay. The WestLicht camera was a gift with special engraving.

Interesting about the difference of price. Thanks, Alexander.

Exactly such camera Nr.1364 in exactly such bag was sold in 2012 on WestLicht for EUR 40.800,- (start price EUR 12.000,-).

I supposed it was genuine when I put 1€ on it. And I was the first owner of this GOI FS-2, for only three quarters of an hour, alas.

BTW, I don't see why this one could be a fake... But perhaps one of us got it and will tell more: I hope so!

the seller sells also fotosniper equipment, which is not expensive http://www.ebay.fr/itm/KMZ-Fotogewehr-FS-12-Sniper-1989-Zenit-12S-TAIR-3S-4-5-300-/272324330664 the boxes of these are different. but he does not claim that this box is original. he says that the mirror box (spiegelkasten) and the lens have matching numbers.

Hmmm, is it original ? Box looks like metal box for Fotoniper from 80's.
Why Spiegelkasten has number 1378 ? Let's assume they started numeration from 1001. It means at least 378 similar items should have been produced.
