Yes it does belong in Wiki, it is a later plastic top version of Zenit ET.. I thought it was brownish? It is uncommon but I wouldn't say very rare.. I've seen this camera in Steve Berkowitz's collection. I do have images of it from Steve's collection but I guess I didn't get around to posting them, Okynek you can post them or I can, does not matter.

The "grey" Zenit-ET is quite easy to find, although it's not as common as usual chrome/black. But any can say it looks great if you have found it in good cometical condition ...

I thought that such cameras should not be rare, but rather unusual I believe lens I got is not original. Lens must be Hilios 44 of some variation, not Industar. I'll post images as soon as I'll make them. Pictures on eBay are from seller. Vlad, if you have good pictures, please do not hesitate to put them. And besides your pictures can have camera with different shade, or color, or texture. I believe other colors and shades should exist. Plastic is too easy to change!

My ET was reffered to as a "Bronze' finish. It has a Brown/Gray color to it. Not too uncommon, but not as plenyful as the Chrome or Black models.

The lens is Black.
Are there any lenses of another color other than chrome or black? My 50 Year Titanium Zenit 122 has a black lens. I'm not aware of any other color lenses available.

... my "grey" Zenit-ET comes with black Helios-44M-7. If I remember correctly, I have papers for this set, so it seems to be the genuine one. I have never heard about "grey" lenses ... may be someone have prepared all-in-grey set especially for Alain ... ?

Then now we have at list 4 types of Bronze Zenit ET: 1. Only Bronze top as on pictures 1 and 2 2. Bronze top, bottom and trim around the camera and lens, pictures 3-8 3. Completely Bronze as Alain has. 4. All Btonze camera with Bronze lens. Do we have #5 Gray camera? |
