Hi,
Someone has never seen this lens before, so I post an image FYI. This is a sharp and contrasty lens for a mirror lens, and it is quite compact, and weighs only 470 grams.
Kind Regards,
Zhang http://www.ussrphoto.com/UserContent/DSCN2773.JPG

Zhang, thank you! You should probably post these kind of images to wiki and not into forums because they will get lost here.
thank you! Vlad |

Thank you very much Zhang! I am only trying to preserve and catalog as much information presented by members as possible because there are a lot of interesting pieces posted into forums ONLY and then almost impossible to find in the future since they are not cataloged.
Regards, Vlad. |

If the lens is in M42 then it has been modified. Both the Manual and the lens engraving say K which is Pentax bayonet! |

Lately most lenses from FSU have universal mount and some came with 2 or more adapters to fit many types of camera. So this lens probably fitted with M42 adapter without modification. I have Rubinar this way. |

You are right. The picture on the manual showed a K mountlens. The lens was made in Nov.3rd,1994, but the inspector signed on August 30th, 1999.It is very strange. Why it took so long for the lens to leave the factory?

Rubinar manuals say that they were manufactured in M42 and K mount so neither is in any way unusual. "A" lenses had what is actually a "T" mount so could take any commercial T adapter. However the soviets only supplied m39(rare) M42, and N adapters and maybe K adapters which I have never seen! |

Here is an image of the logo. I don't think I have seen it before. BTW, I have seen a few of these, and all in M42 mount. Perhaps the factory modefied the mount before delivery? http://www.ussrphoto.com/UserContent/DSCN2787.JPG
