Hi Alain,

Why not....[?]
But he could have used a real Zorki release button instead of the one of a Fed 1g...
I don't know why, but the vulcanite too looks to me from Fed and not Zorki...

Amitiés. Jacques.

The hardest part was making a shroud for the shutter cam mechanism, relocating the spring anchor was the next time consumer. I saw a shutter shroud advertised at dag parts but they wanted $50 way too high. Don

Did you use a Leica standard top?

That time, the body is the one of a Zorki.
Congratulations for the two accessory clips! And for the work...

Jacques.

The top is a Zorki original, The accessory shoes I had.[:)] I put the turrret viewfinder on and go shooting with my 35 jupiter. The hyper-focal focusing works great with the 35mm or wider. Don

Don wow pretty cool! So did you just cut off the rangefinder housing? And what is it around the shutter release button? [:)]

No I kept the rangefinder and housing for spare parts, baffled off the holes and filled then mounted accessory shoes. The shroud for the shutter pin-hole timer I made from a housing for an automotive flasher module. I then remounted the spring from the shutter arm. It was attached to the base for the original cover and accessory shoe screws. I allowed room to access shutter pivots on the top for lubing. I always thought the Leica 1A was sharp so now I almost have one. Just Zorki Chrome will stay for now...The camera is pretty easy to work on except for doing a shutter re-do, then I will send it to Yuri I don't have that much confidence in doing re gluing them . These cameras are such a bargain, I am going to purchase another for back-up. Don[:)]
