There were about a million of Fotokors produced, some like this one were "Special Editions"

Fotokor was the name of folding-bed plate cameras made by the Soviet manufacturer GOMZ, starting in the 1930s. These cameras were imitations of the standard cameras of their type made in Europe, by such makers as Zeiss-Ikon, but they were not equal to their quality. The early Fotokor's came with Compur and Vario shutters and are very rare now. The late Fotokor-1 came with locally made VOOMP shutters and are quite common indeed. |
