Fed 1 Anniversary 1654-1954

The only commemorative Fed 1.
Made in small numbers to commemorate the union between Russia and Ukraine.
The body itself is from the Fed 1g.

There are three engravings on the top plate:
- The logo Fed,
- "Factory named after F.E. Dzerjinski",
- "1654-1954 together forever in Moscow" in red.
The special box can be seen on sovietcams.com PE0310.
The serial (seems always around 465xxx-468xxx) is at the back of the top plate.
Apparently two distinct batches were made, the first in the range 465,5XX- 465,6XX and the second in the range 468,6XX.
- The opinion of Albino Pegorari and Claudio Asquini is that approximately 1000 examples of this camera were made, with serial numbers in the 465,000 to 470,000 range. Reference: "From Russia with a Click". However this number may be too high, accoring to sovietcams.com only 300 were made. It should be noted that Princelle does not mention this commemorative camera.

Note: First five photographs are #468419 (collection Bill Parkinson).
