Posted - Mar 20 2018 : 05:19:04 AM Many of you will know, that last year I decided to sell my collection of Soviet-made photographic equipment. I will certainly remain interested in Soviet cameras and particularly in Vlad's incredible web site. Thank you, Vlad.
Anyway, my collection is to be split between two auctions held by ASTON'S AUCTIONEERS in Dudley, UK on Thursday 29th March at 10.00 BST and Thursday 12th July 2018. For those of you in the UK, viewing for the first auction will be from 12.00 BST until 16.00 BST on Wednesday 28th March and on Thursday 29th March from 08.00 BST to 10.00 BST. Aston's Auction House web site can be accessed at: http://www.astonsauctioneers.co.uk/ and the catalogue can be viewed at: http://www.astonsautioneers.co.uk/auctions.html, together with a link to the live on-line auction. On-line bidding is handled by: http://the-saleroom.com/, where the auction will be broadcast live with live internet bidding.
Although I will obviously be sad to see my collection sold, I will still keep about 35 of my favourite Soviet cameras, so maintaining my interest.
