Posted - Dec 28 2011 : 4:13:12 PM I recently got my first roll of film (Kodak Tmax 400) from my Moscow 5 6x9 rangefinder. Not the easiest camera to use and I kept forgetting to cock the shutter. Not the best set of images I've ever taken but at least I know the camera is working fine and is light tight.
Best wishes, Kris.

Hello Kris. I bet you'd thought you'd never get a reply.
I also have owned some 120 folders, and a 35mm folder, but for some reason I only forgot to cock the shutter on the 120 folders? I don't have them any more as I was always worried about the bellows in damp or hot and sunny days.
I did have to get used to unlocking the shutter on a 35mm rangefinder, I found that a tiny bit annoying at first. Unfortunately, either the meter stopped working properly or the viewfinder needle became sticky, so I have to have a separate meter, which also means I have to us e slightly bigger kit bag for it. The small bag I had for it will now be used for a couple of half-frame cameras (not at the same time), a light meter and a rangefinder. I say that, but i've not actually tried such a kit in the small bag yet.
