I have just added this video camera to the Wiki Catalog, but I know nothing about it. It obviously connects via its multi-pin cable connector to a power source and recorder. Can anyone tell me any more or add to my desciption.

Hello Detlev,

I have been trying to find out about this video camera for quite some time. I am very grateful for the link to the manual. It answers all my questions. I shall now try to see if the camera works! Thanks.

Is this the only video camera made in USSR? Anyone has any information on to how many different video camera models there are? Was Elektronika the only factory making these? I know they were they only ones to make the VCRs in USSR as far as I remember...

I did see once a report on MPI Bolletin or perhaps in the Elektronorgthechnika revue the announceent of such a device. the outfit had also an external video tape recorder/reproducer that used 1 inch video tape.
It operates with a large drum to which the tape was looped.
It seemed to me nearer to AKAI than Sony.
