I have stumbled upon a Red Flag, and I was thinking about buying it... but when I read on our [url=http://www.ussrphoto.com/Wiki/default.asp?WikiCatID=98&ParentID=1&ContentID=812&Item=Fed+NKAP+%28Red+Flag%29]Wiki[/url] I see serial numbers are 20xxxx, but the one I am looking has 137232 - so I can't avoid thinking if it's a fake or how or why...

It's a prewar camera, so a CLA is often necessary if you want to shoot. The mechanism is simple, and cleaning/lubrification operations can be done easily by yourself. It's a bit more complex if the curtains need to be replaced.
If it is to collect, these cameras are easy to find and not too expensive. But it's better to get one with the right Fed lens (no coating and ancient diaphragm scale).
