40th Annual International Camera & Image Show And Sale
To Be Held In Skokie, IL

CHICAGO, IL: The Chicago Photographic Collectors Society will present its 40th Annual International Camera & Image Show And Sale on Sunday, May 1st at the North Shore Holiday Inn, 5300 W. Touhy Ave, Skokie, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Admission is $6.00 donation at the door. Children under 12 and photography students (with school ID) are $4.00. Free parking, free camera appraisals and free camera check-ups will be available on-site from Kim Camera Service.

According to show director Marv Chait, “This is the largest show of its type in the Midwest and will include over 80 dealers from across the U.S., Canada and Japan. Dealers buy, sell and trade contemporary, antique, collectable, and digital cameras, photo equipment, books and images of all kinds. We suggest that people who have old unused cameras and photo equipment stored in their attic or basement bring them to the show for a free appraisal…they may have real cash value.”

For those interested, dealer and exhibitor tables are still available

Just a reminder, the Chicago camera show is this weekend, I'm not doing a USSRPhoto display this year, but there will be plenty of other dealers and camera deals. If you're in the area, stop by, I'll be walking the show.
