Gelveta on WestLicht auction next month

Hi Vlad,
thank you. What do you think about the covering? I haven't seen such Gelveta covering yet. Might it be original?

Regards, Alexander

Westlicht speaks of "green crinkle covering"... It looks brown on the photo.
To compare with the JLP which notes cameras with "a green crinkle paint" (G91 version) and a "chrome front not original" (G93 version), like this one.

Jacques.
Alexander, I have not seen many of these, so honestly my expertise on these are pretty limited, these are very rare... Smile
Luis,
do you mean Kolar 'Prototype' (catalog#590)? It seems for me to be a part of some soviet military equipment in the Czech dislocation of Soviet Army.

Regards, Alexander

And what about the n° 507, a beige/ivory Contax Jena...
25 of these cameras were specially made for the 1950 Fair of Leipzig, but I think some others were officially made before at the factory. This one belongs to this pre series.

Amitiés. Jacques.

Green Gelveta was sold this Sunday for € 15.600 (Hammer price incl. buyers premium).

Regards, Alexander
Shocked Impressive!
