Zeiss UV 60/4 question(OT)

Hi,

Does anyone have knowleadge about this lens? Why it is so expensive? A very rare collector's item, or it was expensive to make?

These UV lenses are built with quartz glasses. So, difficult to make, rare and naturally extreme costly. the shown lens is a 50 years old specimen. I believe this one is too pricey indeed.

Luiz, Zhang, I've populated the 3 Lens entries that Luiz had added. You can view them on the or you can download original Luiz's word DOC file..

Luiz, I did the best I could with these, the tables are pretty wide so on two of these entries it stretched the size horizontally pretty bad, but I think it's all right, the tables require it...

I fixed the cutting off of the tables at the right edge in Internet Explorer... now tables fit completely.
