Film rewind on Leningrad

I am still trying to retrieve the film from my Leningrad camera.How does the rewind work? How do I disconnect the motor drive to remove the film?
Does this have to be done in a darkroom? Is there a downloadable English instruction book? Leningrad City never surrendered, neither will the Leningrad camera surrender my film!

So; i try here to help you .....

-look at the bottom side of your camera,
- you see onthe left side a "Kiev" key, and on the right side (lens toward you) a big button (you unscrewwed for opened the back).
- on the center of this big button you see a small one : put your fingre on and unscrew this little one : i will be free (do not worry : it cannot fall down when free)
Now the motor drum is also free : you can rewind.

remember that the rewind buttom must also be pulled up in order to engage to the internal rewind gear.
If that does not occur, remove the two holed screw holding the film reminder disk. This will loose the whole knob set. The spindle is mounted in a metal cilinder with an around pressure spring. Observe that this cilindre has also two small holes. these are made to adjust the two internal gears (one in the chrome cover /the other in the camera chassis) - Respctively the knob gear and the internal film forket gear- So this cilinter is excentric. a small touch is sufficient to generate the coupling of gears. If you turn more than necessary, gears thill be tightned and cannot operate well.

as usually , very interesting infos luiz ...thanks a lot

Thank you all. I asked about this problem a while ago and you helped then, but the new issue is that I cannot pull up the rewind knob to engage and rewind the film. I can take pictures but not develop them Now, thanks to Luiz' instructions I shall pull apart the rewind and fix it so that this interesting camera can be used again Will report on results(or lack of) when I get some pictures.
