FED 1 Identification help

I recently acquired a FED 1, Serial No. 383275. It has a FED 1:3.5 F=50mm lens attached and the "stops" are pre 1949; i.e., 3.5, 4.5 etc. A previous owner has also added a shim between the lens and mount which positions the focus tab in the position shown below, instead of in line with the RF lens. I understand that the "older" lens, fitted to the "newer" body, would need some adjustment of the focal plane distance to permit proper focusing. Acording to the info. I can find, the serial number dates it around 1953 and a model 1f but, based on other features; shutter speeds of 25, 50, 100 etc., threaded shutter button, mushroom shutter release surround, it could be a 1g but those numbers start at 400,000?? I would appreciate any help with an accurate identification. Thanks all....

JLP is not very precise in his book for the postwar Fed 1.
In fact, if we refer to Fricke's work, we find that the change of shutter speeds (Z, 1/20, 1/30...to B, 1/25, 1/50...) was made between # 288887 and 314381.
The engraving changed between 397433 and 414927 from the 3 inscriptions you still have on your camera to 2 inscriptions only (a large Fed logo and the serial number).

So I think your camera is perfectly coherent, except for the old lenses we can find up to c. 300000 only. It's not a transitional camera, it's just a problem of classification! You could name it 1f-2, for example...

I have the same 1f (I think based on Jacques' classification it's a 1f-1) but it has a sync on a body.. I'm sure it's a homemade modification but very professionally done (halfway down the front of body on the left half), but to everyone's knowledge there were never sync sockets on FED 1's right? especially in 2xx,xxx serial # range.. just want to confirm that even though I probably know the answer...

You are absolutely right, Vlad!
Your Fed would be a 1f-1 (congratulation for the early serial number) and there were never synchro sockets on Fed 1s.
You saw you have an Industar instead of a Fed lens, I think?
