Just a musing on where Ex-USSR cameras cross over to the German Copies - Leica and Contax for example .
I have just indulged in a complete Contax to complement my many Kievs , and it will be restored with collapsible Sonnar in UKraine , which is a little ironic !
Total outlay will be around £200 , which is about the same as buying and servicing an early 1951/2 Kiev 2 and lens .
At the same time , I will be having my Kiev 3 / 4 hybrid konstructed !
A contrast of Kontaxes !
