We do not know much about the legendary camera investigator, collector and author of many books/articles Aleksey Andrejevich Sirov. His first camera related book appeared under name "First Russian Cameras" in 1951.
Following the success of first issue, he worked hard in futher camera industry investigation, compiled and issued his 2nd book "Camera's Way" (or Development of the Camera) in 1954. This ultra hard to find nowadays book is the definitely best resource about early russian - soviet cameras, with a lot of useful data, camera samples, etc.
