Posted - Oct 06 2016 : 5:14:36 PM Getting a list of FSU camera repairers together is a good idea friendlyrod
If we can get a good sized list, then maybe it would be a good idea to organize it into countries? Although it would take quite a while to get enough names to make this worhtwhile. |

Posted - Aug 08 2016 : 5:09:05 PM I came to know by "The Kiev Report" webpage about the existence of a certain Mr. Eddie Smolov, who was a specialized Kiev camera technician in USA. Does anyone have any information on him? |

In the Netherlands is a repairman too who was trained by an Arsenal technician. He is retired now and only accepts very few repairs. |

Do you know if any of these do mail-based repair? If you send it to them will they send it back?
Thanks, Vlad. |

Posted - Aug 08 2016 : 05:43:52 AM One old master lives in my town - in Yoshkar-Ola. He can fix all kind of popular Soviet cameras, and it'll cost only 200-500 rubles! He repaired my Kiev-4AM. He then gathered almost from scratch my Vilia which has only the main part of body and lens. |
