Antonio, you ask a few questions about this camera in the wiki entry, maybe i can try to answer them so it can be updated with more current info:

This is a commercial version, after the end of USSR, in early to mid 90s, KMZ factory became privatized and was looking for ways to make profit, this was an attempt to reuse old technology easily to sell to a consumer. It was also later became an item that Lomography.com would sell via their web site.

https://shop.lomography.com/en/zenit-mf-1?country=us

It is indeed quite uncommon to find one nowadays.

Best regards,
Vlad.

Hi, Friend Vadislav. Many thanks for your comments on this spy camera. I share your information. I can only add that this camera was not produced on Lomography.com's order because the polystyrene box does not contain any reference to Lomography.com.

Best regards.

Antonio
