A so called "MemoryArt" object dedicated to Kyiv camera installed on the façade of the old Arsenal factory building No.7 has been unveiled in Kyiv, Ukraine exactly 3 months ago on August 19, 2022 on the World Photography day.
The art object was conceived and created by a team of Ivan Zotikov and Igor Lobortas.
The building No.7 of Arsenal factory in Kyiv was built in 1914-1915 and is also known as a Koval Workshop.
The opening ceremony was attended by dignitaries such as Serhiy Anzhiyak - a head of Department of Culture of the KSCA, Volodymy Taftai - a head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine and Oleg Melnyk, the director of the museum of the Arsenal Factory.

A pity the old factory is not still running (even in these bad times) - Leica have reintroduced the M6 film camera and we badly need someone to produce a heritage 35mm rangefinder/lens package which is really affordable. Outside of the politics, Arsenal and KMZ would be possible candidates. Remember - photography transcends politics :)
