Greetings forum members. What anyone knows about this model. I saw for the first time and almost bought this model, but at the last moment the seller refused. This is the only photo that I managed to save. It is known that this model is an experimental line of KMZ, about which there is a modest record on the official website. Share the information if anyone knows anything.

Hi Denn,

yeah KMZ archive site has it on their site, it's a Zorki 5 prototype. Here's the photo from zenitcamera.com:

The logo differs just a little bit but that's not uncommon at all among a trial batch of cameras.
Also this camera is #8.

Someone sent me seller's photo.

and the lens is wrong on this one obviously. here's one without the case:

Notice the different rounded windows vs a Zorki-5.

Best regards,
Vlad

From OLD CAMERAS (Starie Fotoapparaty) two more photos
4 Apr at 10:00 pm•from Alexander Tkachenko
I came across such a device. This is clearly Zorki-5 of the first issue, but the inscription is a little confusing. What is this, homemade or were there some limited editions with that name? No information could be found; with the name Rubin there was only some kind of copying machine (according to other sources, a KGB camera) and an observatory. Although, a certain Rubin-Zorkiy is mentioned on the resource exponat-online.ru, but there is a photograph only upon request, and it is not a fact that it will be sent.

Observe the large and comfortable firing knob and the crown over rewind knob. best seen in the next picture

also the self timer inclusion absent in 1st Zorki 5 series
