The Quarz 2 is an upgraded version of the Quarz, having a built-in selenium exposure meter. The meter can be set for film speeds from 12 to 90 ASA (11 to 100 GOST). The meter needle and index point can be seen in the viewfinder. The fixed lens is Jupiter-24 f 1:1.9 12.5 mm. Filming speeds are 8, 16 and 32 frames per second. The aperture selection lever is moved to the opposite side of the camera from that of the Quarz.
