Kama 2nd variation
1961

8mm Movie camera.
100% mechanical with spring drive motor
Made by KOMZ factory in Kazan.
Camera used special cassettes with 8mm unperforated film:
Spring drive
Frame counter
Film :
8mm, 10m on special cassette
Filming Speeds 16, 32 frame/sec and single
Lenses: Triplet(2.8/12.5mm)
Color: dark gray, right and left side covered by vinyl leather.
Set included camera bag, 3 cassettes, cassettes holder, manual, two filters, accelerary lens and box. Cassettes have same serial number as camera and on the end added sequential number of the cassette: 1, 2, 3. That mean that factory was hand fitting cassettes to every camera and was not intended to sell them in stores with film. Owner has to cut film and load it manually.
It may explain why many of this cameras are in great shape after 50 years. Without film they were rarely used [:)].
Camera shown has s/n 6100095
