Just want to share some close up pictures of my Contax IIIa repair
See focusing wheel and rangefinder window :
Slow speed timer and high speeds curtain shaft (located below top plate) :

IMHO focusing is easier with Kiev 4. But Contax IIIa has some nice improvements (changing speeds is easier, viewfinder is slightly better...) Contax IIIa still has ribbons inside. I originally thought they were replaced by gears but it's wrong
