YOUR HELP NEEDED IN ALEX KOMAROV'S CASE!!

I guess main reason F-21 is not in any of these segments because they were confiscated from Alex's possession. And the museum curator doesn't have one for the obvious reason you stated.

Alex's court date is approaching on November 19th, if you haven't yet sent me your signature to be on the official petition for the court please do so by sending me an email to ussrphoto@gmail.com with your:

1. Name
2. How many years collecting/studying the Soviet photographic equipment subject
3. your email
4. your city and country

This document will play a large role in court's decision, thank you for your support! And obviously the confidentiality of the information is guaranteed in such that it will not be disclosed to anyone except to exist on the hard copy of the court document.

No not yet, I have not heard anything yet, he's probably not back yet, will check tomorrow, if I don't hear from Alex, will check with his lawyer.

I have heard from Alex today. Apparently, after his 1500km journey to the court, his appearance lasted just 5 minutes and he was told to appear again on the 29th November. I am sure that we all wish him the very best of luck and that common sense will prevail in the end.

OK, thanks for the update. At the moment there is a lot of tension in Ukraine due to the fact the government rejected an offer for the EU for close cooperation. And there is still the case Timochencko not solved. So over 100.000 people were demonstrating in Kiev today pro European Union. The same in other Ukraine cities. Lets hope common sense will survive. Russia put Ukraine under big political and economical pressure like they have done with Georgia, Moldova and the Baltic States too.
So you can see it is not easy to survive in Ukraine for a lot of things.

Hello all, sorry I've been busy with all this website hosting nonsense and work, I also talked to Alex, it seems like he will have to appear on court a few more times, but his lawyer is somewhat discouraged as he thinks that Alex can indeed get a big fine if not worse.. Alex is in quite depressed mood since he's running out of funds to pay for the lawyer, expensive travel to court and back and any kind of fine that court may impose.. I'm thinking of setting up a page for him for people to donate via paypal, even $5 will help if they wish to do so, also he will be selling a lot of his cameras from his personal collection to pay for all this, so I'll be posting a price list on this forum with the items he'll have for sale so if anyone wishes to purchase anything from him.

I have heard from Alex again, and he tells me that his next court appearance is on Tuesday 17th December. It is absolutely crazy that the judicial system of the Ukraine should waste so much time pursuing a case that on the face of it should never have gone to court in the first place.

So another update, just heard from Alex, he went all the way to Uzhgorod, which takes about a day and a half for a court hearing and his defense attourney didn't show up(!!!), so he had to go home with no results, they rescheduled the court to January 20th... meanwhile please sign the petition I posted in another thread.
