Strange lenses produced by GOMZ

Hello,
I recently received those lenses.
Two lenses and something that looks like an attachement (it does not form image).
For now, my actual hypothesis is that it's lens for Comparator system (also named "profil projector"), kind of optical mesurement system. But I didn't find any info about those particular lenses, and the use of this "attachment".
I would be glad if someone ever heard about something like that.



GOMZ, №500001, name "OK", 600mm, 1:10 . It's composed of 2 glasses (not a doublet). Does not create image.






x20 №2997 . It has a lot of glass inside, and almost cover 24x36 (good quality image)

x50 №2997 . It also has a lot of glass inside, but cover like a 8mm cine lens (still good quality image)

Oh, and those lenses are big (if not visible on image) and heavy. Both long lenses weight around 1500gr. Here is x20 on my A7 :

They look like oculars to microscope but they are much bigger.

The lens x20 seems to have a slope at the back, like for a rangefinder? Anyway, your photo is very good, with an interesting bokeh. Which length of bags did you put on your A7 to get the photo?

About the giant microscope, it was my first thought when I saw them

Jacques, there isn't any moving part on thoses lens, no focus system, so I guess nothing related to something coupled by rangefinder.
The focal flange is quite long, I think around 20cm (the lens on the photo does not sit in the bottom of the metal glass, only the first raw of screw hold the back of the lens).

The general weariness of the metal is interesting too, as if the two lenses x20 and x50 had been exposed at strong conditions...

I found those things in Ukraine. On the photos made by the owner, they were on the grass, totally wet in a datcha's garden. It was the heritage of his father, looks like he considered it like garbage or something. So I believe they have been outside for a very long time. I had to write him several times to ask him several photos , but often was not possible (not at home, too busy, etc...) and when I got photo (after like a month), quality was very poor. So I bought it blind. When I received them, I was pleased to see it has inscriptions with GOMZ logo and such serial number. Also, despite the rust, the screws and rings were fully working. I cleaned the lenses very easily, and lenses themselves were not in bad condition, no scratch , no fungus, only very dirty. Inside the bodies is clean like new. Only the rear lens of the x20 has lost coating. So I think they just long time been untouched at the back of the garden, that could explain this very "vintage" look :) .

I love when it is possible to get a part of history from a seller!
