... Seen at Zenitsite

What "Zenitsite" you mean? ;)
The rangefinder, based, most likely, on Zenit-ET, as you may see. An experimental technical proposal...

The camera is based on ZENIT-E(ET)... Compared to ZENIT-E, Zorki(-1) looks very small and elegant.
And in addition: as far as I understand, this is a medium-format camera (6x6 cm).

OK
The external shape suggests a medium format camera (6x6) as also does the main rangefinder Window.
The buttons, hot shoe suggestsd that the cāmera size is the same of a Zenit from 1965-1990 (E and derivatives) although slightly higher.
a 60mm (!20) film could be fitted on the body as well as the 6x6 format but never the original roller blind shutter.
Which kind of lens is used? (Note the lens is more centered than on Zenits). all these questions have no logical answer. Supposing a central shutter pehaps an up dated version of the "Kadr" prototype.
Zoom has the technical answer.

Why you think this camera is based on Zenit E.
Maybe it is based on Zenit 12XP. It already has hot shoe and shutter speed dial like 12XP. Or am I wrong ?
Where is another photo ?

Sorry, saing ZENIT-E(ET) I meant "ZENIT-E line ZENIT-ET",
Strictly speaking, it does not matter what camera was taken as a basis. They are all the same. The differences are in fact, in the basis, not essential. By details, we can determine the years when the camera was made -- it is more interesting. It seems to me that this is the beginning of the 1980s, not earlier.
