Hi Vlad - thanks a lot for that! Everything fits - the timing of my magazine with the World Exhibition, the rush to get photographic announcements there that in the end never saw light of day...

Most of all thanks for pointing me to the KMZ archive site. I hadn't come across that before and there's lots of information, and google translates it very well for those of us whose Russian isn't up to the job!

THE SHUTTER IS A REMADE PROTOTYPE FROM KODAK CHEVRON CAMERA WITH ITS RECIPROCATING LEAF SHUTTER DESIGN. INTERNAL UNAVOIDED GEAR GAPS ARE "FILLED" WITH MAGNECTIC FORCE BUILT IN TO PARTS.
