Hello,

making some order in the cabinet, I've re-found a lens arrived many years ago along with my Kiev-10 camera.

It is very compact, heavy and well-built. It bears the serial number 71026.

Looking through the lens once mounted it on the camera, it gives a "yellowish" vision, as expected from lenses with lanthanium glass elements, like the well-known Pancolar f:1,4 of the Pentacon Super.

The diaphragm transmission is a little sticky, due to the old lubricants, but I will send it to be fixed.

Does anyone be so kind to give me more info re. this lens?

All the best,

Enzo

Thank you for your kind reply, Juhani.

Yes, the Rubin-1 is the well-known soviet zoom inspired by the Voigtländer Zoomar, that equipped the leaf-sutter Zenit.

This Rubin-2A is a little smaller than the well-known Jupiter-11 4/135 Avtomat with Kiev-10/15 mount.

Attached, some pictures of the lens itself and attached to my Kiev-15TEE
