Fed 1a

Hello Jacques,

I agree, this looks to be a nice camera and quite original, but very expensive. It will be interesting to see if anyone is willing to pay such a high price.
Best regards, JimSmile
Right it is much to expensive. Nice serial number though. What make you to think if it is 100% real? I ask seller for better resolution pictures.

About 100 per cent original, one cannot be absolutely sure, of course. But the minor details visible on an 1a are present:
-rims of rangefinder/viewfinder black/bronze,
-rectangular window cornered and with poor metallurgy,
-oblique arrow for speeds,
-large speed dial with recess,
-no clip and no trace of holes,
-release button "mushroom shaped" (if compared with a 1b)
-a one turn lens, very expensive and difficult to find when not mounted on an original 1a,
-and so on for the inside.
The burnished finish is not really a proof of course, nor the above details taken one by one. But when it seems they all are present...

I wonder what "3C-T" means (on the shoe)?

Amitiés. Jacques.

Well, it was sold today at 1181 euros...
Plus VAT, for most countries.
Much more than a Leica I (A), for example. But one can say that a Leica I is not difficult to find.
Perhaps one of us ?

Amitiés. Jacques.
And hidden buyer's identity, now we don't know if it did go to Russia as it likely did...

The friends mine!
I promise, if all will pass safely and I shall receive this camera, I shall answer questions on it, if they at you will be.
Yours faithfully, dmzi

Bravo! Smile
We wait for your news!

Jacques.
