My First Zorki 4

1 posts in this thread
Hello,

Last monday I've got my first Zorki 4 - it's the 1967 '50 year 1917 revolution' anniversary edition. I bought it as-is, the shutter was working wrong on slow speeds and the 1/30 second setting was working as 'B' Evil

After reading the greats Rick Oleson and DVDtechnik's articles I've decided to dismantle the camera and give it a CLA. I'm a beghinner in Zorki's Smile

Dismantling the camera was easy - easyier than Kievs. After cleaning and greasing the shutter I found it accurate. Smile

Here's the camera :

For those interested here's a close up picture of the parts below the top plate. From left to right : the shutter release button, contact tab, selector speeds mechanism, rangefinder window...

Now I'm waiting for an early 1956 Zorki 4. I hope it'll work fine Big smile

Best,

Jed
