Sputnik Mono TLR

Alain,

Are you sure this is not just a mislabeled Lubitel? I've seen recently a Sputnik with Lubitel logo.. Smile Maybe this is the one where someone someone switched the two. Wink. I want to verify this, so if it's not a factory model, I should probably move it to "Modified" category.

Thanks,

Vlad.
dear Vlad,
i certifye an authentic one, whith original old name plate. reference in "Princelle's"
like "Amator" etc...
Alain,

thank you! Yes you are right! This is indeed a very rare camera! How interesting! It stays in this category, thank you very much for adding it!

Vlad
yes, it's great exponate! I happened to see the inverted version - the genuine Sputnik under name "Lubitel-2" ...

My question is - what, the hell, soviets were doing with such labelings ... Smile

Regards,
Aidas
I just bought this same exact camera, quite interesting...

That's a Chinese 3DWorld camera isn't it? Weird they mixed up the images!

Vlad.
Do you guys think what I bought is an original? I've been comparing the nameplate to Stereo Sputniks, and I could find find the one that had the exact same font as this TLR.. Any insight?

Thanks,
Vlad.
Well in my thinking a stereo-Sputnik has always been a good investment compared to Lubitel, and even as rebranded, so either someone found a lot of these nameplates without cameras, or it is from factory like this.

Best regards,
Juhani
Hard to say if this nameplate is original to camera. It took me less then 10 minutes to switch whole viewfinder with nameplates between Sputnik and Lubitel. It's that easy. On other side if LOMO suddenly run out of Lubitel nameplate, of if they have surplus of Sputnik nameplates then they can surly put Sputnik plate just to meet monthly quote in time, and get bonuses.
I was Skyping with Aidas about this camera, he noticed an absence of lens markings on this example that I got, what do you guys think about that?
