Some time ago, I've acquired an interesting camera in United States - Orbita. There was zero information about it on Google and none of my contacts in Belarus knew anything about it. Here are some photo of it for the ones who missed my posts:

Now, my dear friend in Türkiye, Prof. Erkan Umut has unearthed an information about a second example of this camera in Moscow Politechnical museum! That one seems to be an early prototype that was sent to GOI for approval. Note that my camera seems to be a more developed preseries camera. See this link here:

and here's the photo from that entry for the record here in case link goes away.

Thought this may interest some people and create a record on the web of its existence.

Best regards,
Vlad

My first impression in seeing the name "Orbita" was a real surprise. Soon after I remembered about the Chaika evolution that I saw long before but was forgotten. The recent image of "Orbita" name was in my mind as an item found in the collection I bought from the mother of Mr Gilberto that is now living in Spain. The collection is now being described at:
http://ussrphoto.com/Forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1466&whhpage=10
and is yet not complete.
The introduction of this name made me beginning taking photos and making description of a complete competent hand made camera which first pictures are here and description will be soon posted in contiuation of my descriptions.

I am trying to make a a complete plant of the camera once it can be constructed by any enthusiast Mechanicièn await a bit once I am busy at the while. I am thinking in the future built also a stereo front part in order to increase field of applications or perhaps apply a Lubitrl finder with wide field coverage.

Hi Luiz, these are the photos that I took of it for my Instagram. I bought it around that time and posted it to my account, someone took those and tried to scam people on Avito. That's very unfortunate.
