regrettably the motorized leningrad has no motor at all !!!! Only a giant extrathin spring built in the large advance knob does it all.
the mechanics is the same of Zorki 4 with some simplifications and ext strong steel pieces to support the advance stronke os the spring. Everything is seen with chrome top removed
Regards
LP

I have reassembled a Leningrad and taken photos about it (it's in german): <http://fotos.cconin.de/kameras/leningradrepair/index.htm>

The big knob with the spring can be opened by removing the two screws on the knob and pulling the knob. The spring sits in the housing it does not come out itself :-)

Vlad,

thanks, you have choosen a nice picture :-)

I have more photos, disassembling of a Zorki 4 and shutter replacement of a Zorki 3C. It's planned to make sites of this, but give me some time :-)

Btw, I have a Droug here where the long speeds don't work. Does anybody know how to open it? After removing the speed dial and the screws on left and right side the top cover does not come off. Where is the trap? :-)
