To all members of USSRPhoto, my best votes of a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, plenty of new acquisitions, being them New Cameras or New Knowledge.
Thanks to Vlad, our Moderator, Leader and Most Active member, this year was born a new community with a new face, never seen before on internet. This community well could be called the “Soviet Camera Lovers Brotherhood”. -We love Soviet cameras-. This unexplainable Love to cameras, Love to their designs and Love to the pictures these pieces can take, originates also an inbuilt but unfelt Love to the unknown Creators of such pieces.
During this important Year’s Season of mind reflection, God bless us and our families. Be our Love spread among men and mankind, with no war, no enemies, no poverty, but Peace, Friendship and Prosperity fulfilling men’s basic needs.

Affordable Top Cameras for every Citizen was the Soviet background Motto for camera construction
And I add - Happiness and Hope to mankind, Then and Now.

I will join Luiz's kind word and say - Happy Holidays to everyone!

I want to thank you all of you, this small group of collectors who had contributed tremendously to this online experiment of cataloging the Soviet Photographica and wish you all lots of health in the coming year and may your collections grow faster than your children and grandchildren. Big smile.

This virtual place to meet, discuss and catalog definitely wouldn't have been possible without all your help.. I've only provided the room and the chairs! Wink

Merry Xmas, Happy belated Hanuka, Happy Kwanza and of course Happy New Year!
