you must be happy because you know more about Kiev cams than the sellers.

I think it was good that you didn't buy the 300 years Fed, am I right.

Hi Jacques,
I bought 9 Kiev Contaxes plus one Zorki 3. I didn't attend the fair today, I'm too busy. It took me 6 hours of hard research to find these cameras. Except the 4AM all Kievs are around 1950-55. One Kiev came with a 1950 'SK' 50 F2 lens. The rest is quite common.

You're right I didn't buy that camera - the price itself tells it's a fake. The engraving is well done, thought.

Hi all!!
I met Jean yesterday...We have discussed about fakes all around..
There is a lot!!!! Some are quite well made, but some others definitively not!!!
I have also found interresting cameras, and may be some should be in another topic (Berdsk)
Prices were lower on sunday, and because of the rain, less people came here and sellers began to leave at 12...

how do you think about the Zorki-1 with selftimer?
I have the same version of Zorki-5, but can't remove the vulcanite housing. I took the 4 screws in front and the lens mount off, but still can't move the housing. There must be another secret screw. If you ever disassemble it please tell me.
