Anyone experience with FSU-lenses on X-T Fuji?

8 posts in this thread
What I have seen the Fuji X-mount should work well with LTM39- and M42-adapters, but has anyone here tried?
And if so, how was the result, tones & colors?

Best regards,
Juhani
Yes, I did. It works very well, both m39 and m42. You will have a lot of fun.

Hi Juhani,

I use a modified M39 I-69, Nikon Mount Zenitar-16, M42 Era-6M, M42Helios-44, Kiev/Contax mount Helios-104 and ZK 1948 on it.. as well as a M39 J-3, J-8, J-9, J-11,I-61 L/D. No issues. Smile Of course these lenses are a shock to use after the Fujinons but they are fun. ERA-6M has fantastic bokeh.

Cheers,
Vlad
Oh sorry and that's on Fuji X-Pro2. Fantastic camera!

Thank you, now I am waiting for adapters to arrive Wink

Bessa and film was a disappointment. It was just what I remembered film to be in, good and bad. And why I did quit film is now again clear to me Disapprove

Finally all is here.
Today I have modified Industar-69 from a crap-Tshaika to infinity-focus, lets see what that one does on film, er cell Clown
Looks lovely as a pancake lens Tongue
My Macro-FED was too soft, like the one just some time ago shown here.

Hi Juhani,
I did try with a few lenses :
- A post-war coated FED 50mm F3,5 : good results, somewhat soft, nice colors, better at short distance than infinity
- A late Jupiter 3 : really excellent ! Superb sharpness, great colors. Quite on par with Leitz or Canon lenses of same vintage.
- An Orion 15 28mm : great sharpness ; on par with Canon 28mm of the 50's
- A Jupiter 11 135mm : great as well
Have fun !

Thanks, now only waiting for weather to change. End of winter is very dull time to shoot, not even those nice winter scenes anymore Dead

Best regards,
Juhani
