The Leningrad-8 uses a selenium cell and has three sensitivity settings. Two are set by the sliding switch on the right hand side of the meter, the other is set by a sliding switch on the left hand side. Film speeds from 6 to 33 DIN / 3 to 1600 ASA can be set. Apertures from f/1.4 to f/22 and exposure times from 1/2000 to 30 seconds are catered for. Frame speeds of 8, 16, 32 and 64 fps can be set for cine use.
