Beautifully made optical rangefinder for Smena cameras, made by LOMO, probably during the late 1960s.
It has a gray metalic "hammered" finish, like the Kristal camera, and comes in a nice leather carrying case. Slides onto the accessory shoe, look through eyepiece in back, align the two images, read out the focusing distance on the wheel, set the lens to that distance.
Rangefinder is serial No. 017463 and is shown on an MMZ Smena-M from 1961.
