This appears to be a very well produced homemade item. It is based on a Zenit-3M with an MTO 500mm lens. The handle at the front, under the lens hood, rotates in order to focus the lens. It also offers greater stability and excellent balance, as the combined weight is over 3 kilos. Probably made in the mid to late 1960s.
