Zenit-12 XL is a less common version of popular Zenit-122 camera. Issued in 1991, just after the fall of Soviet Union. Even "Made in Russia" is signed on the bottom plate, what is very uncommon for early post soviet cameras - I still possess Zenit Auto camera with silkscreened "Made in USSR". The mentioned item was made in 1993!.
Presumably Zenit-12 XL camera was made especially for Latin-American markets.
