Kiev 60 Years

Special model of Kiev 4A commemorative of the 60 years of the Famous "Krasnaya Revolutzia" Special model with Red coverings.1977. This model had Jupiter 12 1:2.8/35mm lens
This commemorative version of the Kiev 4 & 4A '60 years of communism' is told to be made in 1977 and taken to Moscow for approval. It uses same stamp of contemporary cameras manufactured by LOMO. Only 2 cameras were produced, one of each model, (the 4 and 4A) with dark red leather skin and a plaque beside the rangefinder window. Approval for this camera was not given and the 4A now resides in the collection of a former director of Arsenal, the 4 in the collection of the former chief of the lens production department. Here pictures of 4A, from http://cccp.webstar.nl/tall_tales.htm
