Zorki "Jubilee 1" - Serial No. 0121
Made from a 1950s Zorki (1c or 1d) with the chrome polished down to the brass, the original engravings of the logo and serial number on the rangefinder housing removed and replaced with the engraved serial No. 0121 and a beautiful and accurate emblem of the great Soviet Union, acid-etched with great detail into the surface of the metal. All of the small writing in the seal of the USSR can be read under magnification!
Was it made as a commemorative gift for a real Jubilee event? Probably not and most likely made just to sell to Western collectors.
